  Got my vote. Would love to see it. I have an installer with lot's of (sub)components. It is a lot of scrolling this way. A collapse/expand would be a great feature.

  yes, i know, it's just that i already saw a lot of features which i'd consider much less useful than this.

  anyway, i thought "feature requests" is not a repo for user patches, but who knows...

  Features don't exist by default...
  Someone has to spend time designing, coding and testing them.

  I think the phrase is "all patches welcome" :o)

  this is a must-have feature, and i don't understand why it's not possible ATM.

  things like translations, spell checker dictionaries and such have A LOT of items, and most users need just one of them. but listing them all explodes the component list (with like 100 new items), so we need collapsible component lists and a flag to set them collapsed by default.
